How do you present using Teams, Zoom (or some other online package) and still have great graphics and some special tricks to keep your audience engaged?

Good question right?

One answer is you can use a cool piece of software called OBS.

What is OBS?

It is a free bit of software that you use to create some great effects and take your presenting to the next level.

What’s the bad news?

The bad news is that it takes a little bit of effort to set up.

What’s the good news?

The good news is that it is really quite easy to do and we have a video to show you how.

Our Virtual Presenting Guru Warwick has created a video that shows you step by step what you need to do to take advantage of how OBS works and how you too can become a Virtual Presenting Guru.

How do you make it work?

This is the super simple way to set up OBS. We head straight to the bits you need to make OBS work for you as a trainer, speaker, facilitator or presenter.

And what else?

Warwick covers some of the considerations you need to take into account as well as some of the ways you can use OBS to your advantage. There is also a section showing you how to link it to your Stream Deck.

One of the files referred to is a circle mask. You can download it here.

To help make it easier, here are the time stamps for each chapter in case you need to come back to this page and look at them again or skip ahead.
